Thanks to all that attended the 5th Annual FestivALL Charleston - West Side Wiener Dog Race 2011
A list of all the winners of the 2011 race is on the Photos/Past Winers page and pictures will be coming soon, so check back. In the meantime, practice, practice practice for Wiener Dog race 2012!
The new "Fetch Competition" Race was fun but practice your wieners up for next year.
Check out the results of the 2010 and prior races on the photo gallery page.
Proceeds of the wiener dog race benefited Animal Rescue from the Kanawha-Charleston Animal Shelter.
Sponsored by the West Side Main Street Program and FestivAll Charleston, the 2011 race was held on 6/18/11 at Stonewall Jackson Middle School on the front lawn located in the 700 Bock of Washington St. W. at 812 Park Avenue in the middle of Charleston's Convenient West Side Shopping District. June 18th is the first day of the 10-day music and art festival in Charleston known as FestivAll. This is a great week to visit Charleston and stay for several days of music and art events.
Again this year a wiener dog costume
contest was held immediately before the races begin. Begin training your wiener now for obstacles courses and the new "Fetch Competition" Race.
